White Chaunsa is the earliest of the three commercial Chaunsa sub-cultivars, followed by main-season Chaunsa and then Honey Chaunsa. It hands the season on to the main-season style in July.

Character

Paler golden skin than main-season Chaunsa and lighter, less dense saffron flesh. The aroma is more floral and less honey-heavy, and the sweetness feels lighter on the tongue.

Season and reservation

White Chaunsa typically arrives in June. Fresh Pakistani mango consignments arrive through the season.
