Sindhri Mango Lassi

The classic, thick, tangy yoghurt lassi sweetened only by ripe Sindhri.

Ingredients

  • 2 ripe Sindhri mangoes, flesh only
  • 300 g cold full-fat yoghurt
  • 100 ml whole milk
  • 1 tsp honey (optional)
  • Pinch of ground cardamom
  • Ice cubes

Method

  1. Blend mango flesh, yoghurt, milk and cardamom until smooth.
  2. Taste, only add honey if the mangoes are slightly under-ripe.
  3. Pour over ice and serve with a dusting of cardamom.
