Sindhri is a Pakistani mango variety from Mirpur Khas, Sindh, in season May to July. It is known for citrus, floral, honey flavour notes and a fibreless texture. Bright, golden, generous.

Pakistan's earliest premium mango. Elongated and golden-skinned, with a juicy, slightly tangy flesh that balances perfume with brightness. The Sindhri opens the season and announces summer.
PakMango.Com sources Sindhri from Khairpur Heritage Orchard, run by Pir Bakhsh & family. The orchard sits on sandy loam, high mineral content at 30m above sea level. Sindh's flagship orchard, planted in the 1950s. The early heat of the lower Indus plains forces Sindhris into ripeness weeks before any other variety.
Sindhri is harvested between Mid-May and Mid-July, peaking Early June. Fresh Pakistani mango consignments arrive in the UK daily during the season, check the expected delivery for your postcode before checkout.
Most cartons arrive at, or close to, eating ripeness. If a mango is still firm, leave it on the counter at room temperature for 24 to 48 hours; it will develop freckles, give slightly to thumb pressure at the stem end and release a strong aroma. Refrigerate only once fully ripe.
